Couples coaching for bright minds, deep feelers & seekers
You want to stay together—and find a different way of being together. One that supports your individuality, your connection, and the life you want to create.
I help thoughtful, creative, growth-oriented couples understand recurring patterns and practice new ways of connecting with empathy, equity, and humor. Be fully yourself. Make room for each other.
“We love each other. So why does this keep showing up?”
You navigate complexity everywhere else. Yet at home, one conversation can leave you feeling unheard or defensive. One of you wants resolution; the other needs space. Work gets your clearest attention, and your relationship gets whatever energy remains.
Coaching helps you slow the pattern down, understand what each of you needs, and practice a different response—so insight becomes something you can use.
What working together looks like.

1. Understand what happens between you.
We explore your hopes, recurring patterns, and the needs underneath them—with room for both perspectives.
2. Practice a different response.
With guided conversation and body awareness, you practice listening, expressing what matters, and staying present when things get difficult.
3. Bring it into everyday life.
We turn discoveries into workable agreements and small practices, then reflect on what helps. Your goals, pace, and lived experience guide the work.
Bring your best intentions into everyday life.

Understand each other.
Express what matters, listen with curiosity, and reconnect after difficult moments.
Share the load.
Make fair agreements about responsibility, boundaries, and the invisible work of daily life.
Protect time for each other.
Create rhythms that support ambition, rest, affection, and shared adventure.
Rediscover joy and possibility.
Make room for desire, laughter, and each other’s gifts—in a life you love sharing.
Room for your particular kind of brilliance.
I especially welcome gifted and neurodivergent adults, deeply empathic people, reflective overthinkers, and partners whose minds work differently. We make room for different sensory needs, processing rhythms, and ways of expressing care.
This work is for couples who want to stay together, take responsibility for their part, and keep growing. Couples across genders, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds are welcome. You can bring your uncertainty as well as your curiosity.
Meet Anaya.
Depth, warmth, and a little humor.
I’m Anaya. I bring warmth, curiosity, compassionate directness, and well-timed humor to helping you feel more present with yourself and each other.
My coaching draws on decades as an actor, independently licensed marriage and family therapist, mindfulness teacher, hypnotherapy practitioner, and educator. For 14 years at Case Western Reserve University, I taught authentic presence—learning to listen, find your voice, and respond in the moment.
Here, relational insight meets body awareness, creativity, and practical change. For those who welcome it, spirituality and intuitive exploration have a place too. I recognize intuitive sensitivity across generations of my family, while respecting your beliefs and discernment.
The service offered on this page is coaching, focused on your relationship goals and everyday practices.
